Background
The bacteriophage vaccination technology originated at Moredun Research Institute when Dr. John March and Dr. Jason Clark were working on production of cheap, stable, efficient vaccines for use in developing countries.
Originally funded by Scottish Enterprise via the Proof of Concept Fund, subsequent funding from the Genomia Fund, Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian and allowed continued development of the technology.
